Central Market

If looking for souvenirs, one of the best places to go to in KL is the Central Market. It has since been classified as a Heritage Site by the Malaysian Heritage Society and it is now a landmark for Malaysian culture, heritage and tourism.

Central Market is walking distance from Pasar Seni station, it's in between KL Sentral and Masjid Jamek stations.

There are lots of stores and stalls to choose from selling different kinds of Malaysian and other Asian products.

The building is centralized and has its own food court where you can hangout before or after shopping.

We just couldn't get enough of roasted and hainanese chicken. Yum yum!

Of course, don't forget to leave room for dessert! ;) Here's a huge serving of chocolate shaved ice cream with nuts, choco syrup and wafer. Gusto!

This man who caught my attention was sitting next to his stall doing some sort of sand art.

His finished products looked so awesome and amazing! Kinda regret I didn't get one for display in my room. If any of you are flying to KL anytime soon, could you kindly please get me one and send it to MNL? ;)

Few minutes away from Central Market is the famous Petaling Street or Chinatown.

Petaling Street is still the best place to shop for counterfeit branded products and for trying out it's large selection of local Chinese cuisine. The Street is always crowded not only with tourists, but also with locals. Just a reminder travelers, don't forget to haggle if interested to shop here! :)
