Sarap Maglakbay with 2GO!

Cebu and Boracay are the only places I've been to in the Visayas area so I couldn't say no when I got a call from Nate of Tagline Communications, Inc. as well as the team from 2GO Travel inviting bloggers for a 3D2N trip to Iloilo and Bacolod. I mean seriously, I'm a virgin when it comes to sea travel. This is a once in a lifetime experience I wouldn't dare miss! ;)

2GO Travel is one of the largest, premier land/sea-travel provider in the Philippines. The company offers a wide selection of hotel accommodations/services, tours and events packages, with the ease of land/sea travel. Born out of established brands such as Negros Navigation, Superferry, Cebu Ferries, and Supercat, 2GO Travel has a combined history of more than 148 years in travel industry.

Our group met in 2GO Travel's VIP lounge called The Hub @ Kilometer Zero which is few minutes walk from Luneta Park and Manila Planetarium.

The Hub has it's own restaurant so no need to go out and get food. Plus they have WiFi!
Say hi to my fellow bloggers from L-R: Jirbie, Ros, Rod, Ann, Willa, Aisa, Tin and Ana. :)

Mr. Stephen Rey Tagud, VP/Chief Commercial Officer of 2GO Travel was there to welcome us. :)

Our bus (magenta bus to be exact! how cute is that?!) arrived after lunch and brought us to the recently renovated Manila North Harbour Port (MNHP).

Check-in was a breeze. Did you know that every passenger has a minimum carry on baggage of 75 KGs?! Wow! That's 10x more than the required check-in baggage for air travel. Awesome-sauce! ;)

MNHP's waiting area looks the same as those we see in airports.

Our vessel for this trip is St. Michael the Archangel.

Travel time from Manila to Iloilo takes approximately 20 hours.
