A Sunday in Macau

We didn't have any itineraries for this trip so we just hopped on a bus and walked on our way to The Venetian Hotel to check out the Grand Canal Shoppes.

There's free shuttle service available but we didn't get to take advantage of that since we wanted to check other parts of Macau besides the hotel casinos.

I've been to Macau on a day tour back in November 2011 and it's pretty much the same since then.

After our short trip at The Venetian we were back in Senado Square.

Like Iloilo, Macau is good place for "church hoppers". There's probably a dozen or more Catholic churches here. We went to St. Augustine's for the 4:30PM mass. We must always remember to give thanks for all the blessings He has given us! :)

Took this photo right outside St. Augustine. We were very much in awe by the beauty and architecture which makes Macau one of the most picturesque places I've been to my whole life. Dedicated talaga sila sa pag preserve nung mga old Portuguese colonial buildings. ;)

Before going back to our apartment we stopped and took photos around Grand Lisboa.

Hindi po kami nag ca-casino. Hehe. We prefer to use our money to shop instead of gambling. :)

Speaking of shopping, we got ourselves a little something from Charriol.

Personally, Macau isn't the best place to shop 'coz there's nothing to buy there except for their yummy egg tarts. We actually went back to Hong Kong on day 3 of our trip just to shop. Haha. We planned to check out Macau Tower or watch the House of Dancing Water in City of Dreams but yun nga lang medyo tight budget. "Needs" muna before wants! Hihi.
