Looking for Hotels in Macau?

My boyfriend Paolo recently got back from a business trip and was kind enough to share to us his photos and review of the Grand Lisboa and Holiday Inn Macau.

This is a photo of the Grand Lisboa Hotel from our December 2013 trip in Macau.

According to Paolo, he booked a room with Ctrip.com which offered cheaper rates compared to the usual booking sites. I assume this is their superior room.

The interiors looked really sad and old. Haha.

But hey at least the room is spacious for 2 or more. ;) The room also has a tea bar and fridge filled with sodas.

Apologies for the overexposed photo on the right. The bathroom looks spacious too. ;) I'm just not digging the dark tiles.

Grand Lisboa Hotel is approximately 10 minutes walk from Senado Square. Their booking does not include breakfast so they usually go out to grab something to eat. Since there's a casino in the hotel, Paolo told me that they spotted a lot of prostitutes walking around the lobby. Hahaha. Na-stress siguro si kuya. Moving on...

After their overnight stay Lisboa, they transferred to Holiday Inn Macao.

Their rooms were obviously a breath of fresh air compared to the rooms of Grand Lisboa.

The room looks new, reminds me so much of our room in Seda Hotel, BGC, Taguig.

I love that they offered a lot of pillows because I'm a 'sleep-hugger'. May choices pa if gusto mo ng soft or firm pillows. ;)

Spacious din ang bathroom, may tub and shower area. Puwedeng sabay maligo! Choz.

Personally, I like the rooms at Holiday Inn. If I'm not mistaken the hotel is less than 5 years old so medyo bago pa siya and well maintained. ;) If I were to go back to Macau, I'd definitely stay at the Holiday Inn. :)
