Last Day in KL

What better way to end a fun trip but with good food and a little shopping? :) I like that our hotel was few minutes away from Jalan Bukit Bintang where you'll find shopping malls like the Pavilion, Lot 10, Fahrenheit 88, etc. It's a shopper's paradise! If you're into shopping, I suggest you book a hotel within that area. ;)

Actually, we had no choice but to walk because traffic was really bad during our time of visit. There's an ongoing construction of a new train station along Jalan Bukit Bintang cor. Jalan Pudu.

But worry not Travel Junkies! Malls along Jalan Bukit Bintang are like less than 5 minutes away from each other. ;)

Okay, so we found Tokyo Street inside Pavilion mall and we suddenly had this craving for Japanese food.

I remember seeing this Japanese resto with conveyor-belt called Sushi Zanmai inside Fahrenheit88 mall.

Apologies to my Travel Junkie visitors who were expecting us to have a Malaysian food trip. As a couple, we really really REALLY love eating Japanese food.

His and hers. :)

We are salmon crazy. Who doesn't love salmon sushi?!

All this talk about Japan and their food makes me really excited about our plans of going there early 2014! :)

Anyway, after our very hearty meal we went straight to the airport for our 9PM flight. We're supposed to get a cab from our hotel but they had higher rates so Paolo decided to just get a cab outside. Taxis in KL are pretty much the same with the ones we have back home in MNL. You can haggle with the drivers for good rates but it's better to just get a cab that agrees to use his car meter. Also, the airport is probably 1.5 hours (depending on the traffic) from the city center so you better leave earlier than usual. ;)

I hope you had fun reading about our adventures in Kuala Lumpur! :) I loved the city and I couldn't wait to come back for more! Stay tuned for my next travel post! Goodnight Travel Junkies! ;)

P.S. Spotted a few of my favorites while waiting inside the low cost airport:
On your left is a box of Cadbury Flakes. I had no idea they're available here, I get my stocks from Sydney!
On your right is like a bar of green mangoes. I love green mangoes 'coz of their sour/salty taste. Yum!
