Tokyo Snow Storm

Glad we arrived a day before the snow storm hit most parts of Tokyo, Japan last February 8, 2014. According to news, as much as 27 centimetres (10.6 inches) of snow was recorded in Tokyo by late Saturday, the heaviest fall in the capital for 45 years.

We're one of the crazy kids who were brave enough to go out that day.

LOL. Pardon the smiley face. It was actually our first time to experience snow. ;)

We were stuck in Sagamihara-shi for 2 days because roads weren't passable obviously because of the snow. Here's a view from our balcony.

Here's the aftermath of the snow storm.

The place we're staying at is 5-10 minutes away from the station but this time around it probably took us 20 mins or more just to get there. Madulas maglakad sa snow ha. Hehe.

That's it for now. Still having a hard time updating my blog using my new laptop. Hahaha. Hopefully I get to share with you guys our trip to the Tokyo Skytree within the day. For now, LIKE my page in FB. Talk to you soon travel junkies!!! :)
